- Validate CNC programs for accuracy and functionality.
- Demonstrate precision in working with tight tolerances and possess a thorough comprehension of technical drawings.
- Proficient in setting up complex machinery, including the use of an overhead crane.
- Read and interpret machining drawings in both metric and standard measurements.
- Conduct validation tests and initial production runs of CNC programs.
- Capable of comprehending and modifying manual CNC programs.
- Skillful in optimizing CNC programs, including adjusting feeds and speeds.
- Conduct initial inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Expertise in selecting, preparing, and setting cutting tools.
- Proficient in machining parts of higher complexity using a variety of materials.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Machinist.
- Adept at reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, charts, and tables.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a custom fabrication and machine shop is preferred.
