WHATS IN STORE FOR YOU Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbents main mandate will be to operate and feed CNC machines, as well as 4-axis machines and more, in automatic mode. In a nutshell, heres what youll be doing with your time: Operate and control all CNC machines
Have the right part quotas according to given times
Feed machine with raw materials
Monitor machine operation to detect blockages and defective products, and if necessary, make adjustments (e.g., measurement changes, etc.) Carry out all checks and verifications mentioned in the inspection plan and complete it
Inspect parts using measuring instruments and tools (e.g. holematic, internal micrometer, gauge block, bore gage, etc.) and according to critical and/or complex dimensions.
Identify out-of-tolerance measurements and inform the setter-operator.
Perform tool changes and make any necessary adjustments (e.g.: inserts, bits, collars, etc.)
Carry out mechanical set-ups and adjustments, operate the automatic bundle saw and change the raw-material saw blade as required.
Check the condition of parts (e.g. absence of rust, marks, excess oil, burrs, etc.) to ensure that customer expectations are met.
Initialize the identification sheet, indicating the quantity produced, and fill in the reject sheet when a part does not comply with quality standards.
