POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Club Website Coordinator supports the Systems administrator's projects and manages form creation and administration, in addition to assisting with the design and publishing of the website content. The Website Project Coordinator will provide courteous service and support to SSMU staff with respect to their workstations and various technical problems they may be experiencing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating and administering virtual forms
  • Assists with the organization of the SSMU’s Clubs Portal
  • Assist in publishing website content
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and solve problems before they occur.
  • Other tasks related.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

To undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Communications Manager from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the functioning of SSMU student groups is required
  • Experience in website building platforms like Wix or Weebly is an asset
  • Experience in form building is required
  • Understanding of Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G Suit, and Wordpress is required
  • Experience serving as an executive of a SSMU club or service is an asset
  • Knowledge of student governance and student politics an asset
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Initiative and results driven oriented
  • Strong communication skills in English

Additional Information

  • Paid position: $20.25
  • Contract dates:August 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025
  • Hours: 200 hours total; 4-5hours a week
