What’s exciting about this position?As our Cloud Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure in cloud computing environments. Focusing on optimizing network performance, security, and scalability within cloud platforms and services. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Network Architecture: Design and architect the network infrastructure within Azure, or other cloud providers. Microsoft express route, fail overs.Network Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect data and applications in the cloud. This includes firewalls, encryption, access controls, and threat detection.Scalability: Ensure that network resources can scale dynamically to accommodate changes in traffic, application demand, and business growth.Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations for efficient operation.Hybrid Cloud Integration: Integrate on-premises network infrastructure with cloud resources to create hybrid cloud solutions.Virtual Private Cloud (VPC): Configure and manage VPCs or their equivalents in different cloud providers to create isolated network environments.Load Balancing: Set up load balancers to distribute traffic across multiple cloud servers or instances for high availability and performance.Network Automation: Implement automation scripts and tools to manage network configurations and reduce manual tasks.Compliance and Governance: Ensure cloud networking complies with industry standards and organizational policies. Implement governance and compliance measures.Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure network resiliency in case of failures or outages.Collaboration: Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps teams, and system admins.As the newest Sectra operation, Sectra Canada has the best of both worlds. Minimum 5 years of technology field experience. 5+ years of Azure and AWS cloud experience. Minimum 5 years of enterprise imaging solutions, radiology workflows, integrations, and migrations experience.Experience with cloud networking, including firewalls, Active Directory, load balancers, VPN, DNS, update management, and security. Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications, while also developing support and deployment strategies. Passion for service excellence, with exceptional customer interaction and communication skills.Highly organized and deadline-driven, and enjoy a fast-paced work settingAbility travel (10% to 15%)Also nice to have:Experience working with IT service desk or customer serviceExperience working with PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, IHE and other healthcare interoperability standardsStrong experience working with Windows, MS SQL Server, SQL Server AlwaysOn, networks, Active Directory, hardware, clustering, programming or scripting tools, and VMwareMeticulous about documentationExposure to diverse cultural experiencesOur salary range for this role falls between $96,700 and $137,400. The final salary offer will depend on several key factors, including the candidates level of experience, their specific skill set, and the overall alignment with the job requirements. Other considerations may include the candidate’s education, certifications, and any additional relevant qualifications.
