THE ROLE We are looking for a Cloud Delivery Manager (CDM) who will act as a single point of contact for the entire suite of delivery activities for the SaaS Onboarding Projects. This individual is responsible for Project Planning and Delivery Management, Resource Planning & Utilization, Quality Control & Assurance. The Cloud Delivery Manager is also responsible for coordinating and reporting the status of work from the other stake holders of the project. Specifically, the responsibility of the cloud delivery manager is to provide collective status of the project by working closely with the Cloud team, SRE, PACS (Support team), Core Development (Product team), Distribution, etc. OPPORTUNITES You will provide overall leadership for the onboarding projects assigned to you to deliver high-quality service within committed timeframes. You will be responsible of planning, execution, and delivery of Cloud onboarding as per the committed dates, and with expected quality levels. You will work with Cloud Technology Team (Product team) and SRE to co-ordinate the Cloud environment provisioning and Cloud support during the Onboarding phase of the projects. You will co-ordinate through the various teams and stakeholders for all delivery activities and act as the escalation point for all cloud related issues specific to Onboarding projects. You will ensure Scope changes are captured and impacts identified and managed. You will utilize and update internal systems on delivery management in a timely manner, thus ensuring timely status reporting. You will ensure 100% compliance to Quality and Release Processes. You will participate, as required, in steering committee meetings, senior executive meetings, and other such events. You will be responsible for the overall planning of resources based on project demands. You will manage the allocation of resources to various tasks. You will ensure effective utilization of resources and control effort spent on overrun and support. You will be responsible for skills management, career management, and mentoring of different project resources. You will be responsible for succession planning for the critical resources. You will understand the project skills requirements well ahead and plan for the required training. SKILLSYou should have experience in information systems project management, ideally in a banking environment or cloud implementations. You should have the ability to deliver on time, on scope, and on quality service. You should have the ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment with little or no direct authority over the project team members including partner teams. You should have experience working with Engineering Managers, Platform Team leads to allocate resources for the best possible outcome across the Onboarding projects. You should have experience mentoring and developing other members of staff, providing career development opportunities. You should have the ability to identify risks and issues in relation to a project and mitigate or escalate, them as appropriate. You should reflect strong stakeholder management with business stakeholders & and leadership teams with a prime focus on product delivery. You should identify and remove impediments, communicate risks, and issues to delivery managers, product owners, Cloud team and business stakeholders in a timely way, and work together to get to a solution with the least impact on sprint cycles. You should have project planning and progress monitoring including budget control and milestone control; issue and risk management. You should have experience in the position of a Project/Implementation Manager on a client site and possess IT technical and general leadership qualities. You should have effective leadership, interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal). You should have good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects. You should have good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures. You should have the ability to engage and interact with non-technical staff.
