Position: Clinical Trainer Specialist Department: Clinical Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada Company summary: InMode is a leading global provider of innovative medical technologies that develops, manufactures, and markets devices harnessing novel radiofrequency (RF) technology. Position Summary: The Clinical Specialist will be responsible and accountable for delivering customer focused expert clinical education with emphasis on the safe and effective use of InMode systems. The position involves assisting in the development of educational materials, analysis of training results, training, evaluating, and other initiatives related to product development and release. The Clinical Specialist role is field based and requires close collaboration with the clinical, sales, marketing, and customer service teams. This person must work in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Education Transfer clinical and technical product line expertise to customers to ensure they have the knowledge base to deliver safe and effective treatments to their clients. Understand customer needs and develop a targeted customer education strategy. Reinforce optimal InMode treatment protocols (QRG) Perform InMode treatment demonstrations and other specialized procedures as needed for InMode Events. Understand scientific facts and packages them into a cohesive communication model for customers. Communicate updated techniques to expand customer’s expertise and help them achieve optimized clinical outcomes. Maximize customer support through proper planning, responsiveness, and knowledge transfer. Support the release of new software or product modifications that require hands-on education. Complaint Handling Responsible for notifying management of issues relative to clinical product performance and customer satisfaction for investigation and possible escalation. Corporate Drive collaboration and maintain consistent, open lines of communication across assigned responsibilities within the clinical, sales team, as well as corporate team. Provide support for clinical investigations at assigned study sites as requested. Attend and assist in working major conventions and commercial meetings as determined by management. Manage regional associated administrative tasks and responsibilities (i.e. expenses, education materials, etc.) Interdepartmental Provide clinical support and input in all phases of continued development and enhancements of InMode including defining customer needs, translating needs to requirements, and identifying key features for new products. Work directly with sales and other groups to coordinate and assist with product development and clinical validations. Education Program Enhancement/Development Participate on cross-functional teams and projects including but not limited to product development, written and online education documentation and continuous learning initiatives. Stay current on InMode best practices, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information. Provide mentoring for new clinical trainers. Assist in designing, developing and optimizing clinical education programs and documentation. Sales/Customer Service/Marketing Support Work in conjunction with sales, customer service and marketing teams to properly identify, prioritize targets, and achieve corporate goals and objectives Work cross-functionally to develop best methods of communication for existing and future products and indications that will meet the needs of the current customer base and allow expansion into new markets. Critical Competencies Must be knowledgeable in delivering technical educational programs and in using a variety of educational modalities including web-based. Strong technical expertise and mechanical ability. Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation. Possess a positive, proactive approach to solving clinical issues or technical problems. Ability to travel up to 80%. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant Minimum of five years’ experience in the medical device industry in a clinical or education position. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience with RF, laser and energy based systems required. Experience in developing education materials and conducting education preferred. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a very face paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and web tools.
