How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers’ instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; and arranging for repairs. Contributes to the growth of VitalAire by liaising with medical professionals; providing information/literature to prospective clients; providing a demonstration of products and services to prospective clients.
  • Committed to contributing towards a safe work environment by obeying safety policy and procedures, working and encouraging others to perform in a safe manner at all times. Reports unsafe occurrences and/or practices.
  • Provides oxygen equipment, training, and support on safe operation during new client setup and hospitals for quick and efficient client discharges under the supervision of regulated health care professionals.
  • Documents client care services by charting in client records. Maintain knowledge of funding systems. Maintains client confidence and protects VitalAire operations by keeping information confidential. Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary processes and forms, assisting with the cleaning & maintenance of equipment used for service to clients.
  • Contributes to team effort by communicating with regulated health care professionals as required and by working with other staff members to achieve optimal customer experience.
  • Promotes Air Liquide Healthcare services by suggesting related products and offers additional information to assist customer needs.
  • Provides after-hours service to clients by participating in branch on-call rotation
  • Cleaning equipment (5 step process)
  • Supplying or maintaining discharge equipment to facilities
  • Other duties as required.

Are you a MATCH?

  • High School Diploma required, College Certificate, or medical background preferred.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office & Google systems with strong data entry skills.
  • Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of homecare equipment an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical/customer service-related role.
  • Satisfactory level of physical fitness to perform physical requirements of the position.
