We are looking for a manager to lead our Violence Against Women (VAW) and Seniors and Caregivers (SCSS) teams. You will be responsible for the operations, financial management, clinical and administrative supervision, program development and service delivery of these two programs. You will actively participate in a wide range of community collaboration and advocacy initiatives. Committed to Continuous Learning: You stay informed of evidence-based and emerging practices and the changing needs of sectors being served and will foster an environment of clinical excellence.Key Qualifications:You are a demonstrated strong leader in your workplace and your community. You hold an M.S.W. or have equivalent combination of education and experience over a minimum seven-year period. At FST foreign credentials are valued. You are a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). You have a solid clinical counselling background working in areas such as gender-based violence, elder abuse, mental health, senior and caregiver services, developmental services and working with trauma survivors.You have the expertise, acumen, and hands-on experience to effectively guide, mentor, evaluate, and nurture talent within teams.You have proficiency in examining and meeting clinical indicators on a team level to drive achievement of organizational objectives.You have experience in crafting funding reports, writing compelling grant proposals, and cultivating fruitful collaborations both within and outside of the organization.You have knowledge of housing supports for people fleeing violence and abuseYou have knowledge and experience working with equity seeking communities You demonstrate a commitment to the principles of social justice, cultural competency and equity and inclusionYou have a strong track record of working at the systemic level to address the social impacts of gender-based violence and/or issues related to agingYou always work within a framework of trauma-informed service delivery. You hold current knowledge of best practices violence intervention/prevention and mental health.
