POSITION SUMMARY
:The Clinical Informatics Nurse IV acts as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and functions under the vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of Prairie Mountain Health. The Clinical Informatics Nurse IV is responsible for ongoing training, development, monitoring and promotion of the standardized and effective use of clinical information systems to promote and support the delivery of best practice/evidence based, client focused and professionally endorsed clinical care.
The Nurse IV recognizes and fulfills their professional responsibilities by practicing in a manner consistent with professional obligations to take actions as per the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses, The College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses, The College of Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Psychiatric Nursing Practice, the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act, and other Provincial and Federal legislation.

Overview:
The Clinical Informatics Nurse IV works closely with the Clinical Informatics team, lead by the Regional Manager of Clinical Informatics to support the various clinical information systems used in PMH. This support includes, but is not limited to policy and worflow development, new project support and implementation, and ongoing staff and provider training.
