Come join our growing team as we look for three (3) Civil Engineering Technologists to prepare shoring and forming application drawings using AutoCAD and other tools for use in our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed application drawings using our products.
  • May be required to prepare detailed fabrication drawings of simple products.
  • Prepare material take-offs, as required, based on application drawings.
  • Visit construction project sites as required to assist salesforce on engineering designs.
  • Perform design calculations.
  • Other related tasks.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Diploma in engineering technician/ technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility where you were responsible for producing drawings for forming, shoring and scaffolding or related design.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, in English.
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD, basic engineering software and Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to professional career development.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, ability work collegially with sales personnel and others to provide customer focused engineered solutions.

Job Details

These permanent full-time positions (40 hours/week) are for our Edmonton location (304 69 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6P 0C1) however some travel will be required to our project sites.

We offer a very competitive compensation package of $70,000 annually. In addition to our group benefits package which includes health, dental, disability, vision, life insurance employees participate in our financial benefits and wellness programs.
