As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally, we are eagerly seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Moncton office. Located at 555 Mapleton Avenue, this new office space provides a bright, vibrant, highly functional, technologically advanced, and collaborative working environment for our team. Not only will you be given an opportunity to help bring local infrastructure projects to life; but you will also have a chance, if desired, to collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions!

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the overall planning, design, and construction of a wide range of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects by:
  • Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D;
  • Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, and wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final;
  • Generating material quantities and cost estimates;
  • Preparing presentation graphics and report figures;
  • Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner;
  • Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards;
  • Completing on-site inspections of civil projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent);
  2. Relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, roads);
  3. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel, and Autoturn;
  4. Strong work ethic and communication skills.
