The leading Telecommunication Company in Seychelles, a quad service provider offering Mobile, Internet, IPTV and Fixed line services seeks to recruit a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). This senior leadership position will provide direction/leadership and strategic vision to Cable & Wireless Seychelles’ operations and commercial areas. The CCO supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in defining and implementing strategic business goals, upholds the Company’s mission statement and work with other members of the Senior Leadership team and colleagues to ensure great customer journeys and growth in revenue with optimised margins. The CCO will lead in the day-to-day management of the Company’s Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, and identify opportunities for strategic growth. 

The CCO must have a proven record of operational excellence in a well-established organisation with remarkable revenue growth. This role requires a candidate with strong Leadership and Strategic Thinking, Strong Techno-Commercial mindset, focus on Innovative Solutions, expert knowledge in Telecom Services , knowledge of marketing strategies, ability to optimise operations and process designs. The CCO will also drive changes, budget planning & monitoring, manage SOP’s and KPI’s and improve profitability. Must be able to drive strong relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders and motivate employees to grow with the organisation. Should be a role model, exemplary, ethical with high standards and principles.

Qualification/Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 10 years within the telecommunications industry, with 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role. 
  • Strong business acumen and a track record of driving commercial excellence and financial performance. 
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications operations, client relationship management, regulatory requirements and industry trends. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial and operational strategies and plans, manage complex projects, and drive change. 
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvement. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Exceptional work ethics.
  • Masters’ or MBA or other relevant professional qualification.
