Position: Chief Accountant
Location: Montreal - Centre
Salary: $90K to $110K
Our client, a leading investment company, is seeking a Chief Accountant for their Montreal office.
Reporting directly to the director, this role offers a clear path for career advancement.

Job requirements:
- DEC, Certificate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to supervise team members effectively.
- Real estate experience is an asset.
Job Description:
- Preparation of full financial statements.
- Supervise a team of 2 people.
- Review the accounts payable and receivables.
- Account reconciliations.
- Monthly reports and journal entries for month-end.
- Cash flow management.
- Variance analysis.
- Follow-up on budgets and project costs.
- GST/QST reports.
- Year end audit files
