Candidates to the engineering profession are welcome.The selected person will be entrusted with numerous maintenance projects of varying scope. The candidate will be involved in all implementation phases of the projects entrusted to them. From problem identification to on-site execution, they will be responsible for ensuring that the various stages of the project run smoothly, on time and on budget, as defined with the customer. By integrating the project processes specific to our different customers, the incumbent will participate in the design of technical solutions and the preparation of schedules and budgets for each project. In order to maintain good communication with the various project stakeholders, the incumbent will be required to maintain a regular presence on site.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all stages of projects under its responsibility Develop project plans, based on customer objectives Establish and monitor engineering budgets Participate in the design of technical solutions Estimate costs and plan implementation of selected solutions Produce mechanical plans and specificationsParticipate in the identification/definition of equipment specifications Ensure internal coordination between project stakeholders Analyze proposals and make recommendations Produce and monitor project schedules Participate in the supervision of contractors' work on site Participate in the preparation of project progress reports Participate in the execution of site surveysQualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, or in the process of becoming one Zero to five years' experience in industry, including the pulp and paper sector Leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken; Bilingualism is a requirement for this position, facilitating effective interactions with stakeholders like clients, partners, and government agencies to ensure smooth operations Attestation of training in health and safety on construction sites - ASP card (an asset) Autonomy and excellent teamwork skills Ability to identify industrial production issuesContact Alexandra DoroshenkoAdditional InformationEthics and integrity are fundamental values at CIMA+.
