Position Summary...
To lead all Deli Associates and department processes to ensure a high level of customer service and while meeting production targets.What you'll do...
1. Receive merchandise, use equipment properly and monitor repair needs, manage required documents, records and other documentation.
2. Maintain the display in the sales area, by storing and rotating the merchandise, removing damaged or expired products, setting up and maintaining the product displays, placing the merchandise display and prices.
3. Participate in the recruitment, selection, training and development of all associates in the deli department.
4. Lead by example by greeting all customers in a polite and courteous manner and help promote products and services, locate merchandise and make purchase decisions.
5. Perform all aspects of the SALUS "Branch-within-a-Branch" planning for the deli department; Attend SALUS meetings to review SALUS reports on food products, orders and sales information. Ensure correct levels of stock in the deli department by executing all marketing and replenishment programs.

7. Complete and maintain necessary documentation, such as inventory tracking reports, scrap log sheets, invoices and assigned notes.
