Job Description
The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for offering an exciting and savory menu, while being extremely mindful of costs and expenses. Responsibilities include striving towards maximum customer satisfaction by supervising the Food Service Staff and ensuring the adherence to the standards expected by Future Electronics.ResponsibilitiesSupervise Administrative, Kitchen and Service staffWork closely with the Chef’s to determine which staff and supplies will be requiredCompile serving schedules and assist with co-ordination of food & beverage services during functionsAssist with dealing with customer inquiries/issuesTrain, motivate and supervise staff to ensure performance and team spiritManage expenses, minimize unknown losses and shrink while maximizing profitabilityDevelop and maintain budgeting and forecasting for food and beverage departmentCommit to notion of a “green” kitchen and dining room, actively participate in organizational initiatives and seek out opportunities to reduce, reuse and recycle; be cognizant of and compliant with ISO 14001 and related requirements and standardsQualifications and ExperienceA certificate/diploma/degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent A minimum of 5 years full-time senior experience working within a food and beverage departmentDemonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelFluently bilingual, written and spoken English and French Competencies (Skills & Behaviors)Must possess very high motivational skills and the ability to lead the team with very little supervisionDisplays a positive attitude, maintains enthusiasm and celebrates successA proven ability to be comfortable with change and to stay focused dealing with many interruptionsWhy join us At Future Electronics, we mean it when we say we care about our employees.
