As a member of the Buying team, the Buyer is responsible for ensuring success in all assigned categories of business for the Canada doors. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, can creatively problem solve, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. What You’ll Do:Work with Buyer to understand departmental strategies and key goals for the seasonParticipate in seasonal assortment planning for stores, building strong relationships with retail store managers and cross-functional partners to discover missed opportunities Builds and updates seasonal assortment sheets, line plans, and item SKU listsPrepare and maintain reporting and analysis such as best sellers, opportunities, and market reporting by style, category, doorAssist in order management and continued ownership of order files to ensure accurate rollout to all doorsManage all special-order requests relative to monobrand business Assists with product transfers Completes reports and recaps and communicates trends and financial metrics to key stakeholders including management, planning team, and international partnersAnticipates inventory opportunities, communicates recommendations, and takes corrective action with the guidance of buyer to solve problems and correct deficienciesCreates materials for store product knowledge seminars and participates in local clinics and eventsAdditional duties as assigned Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising preferred3-5 years experience in a related role, preferably with a luxury brandProficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and OutlookStrong retail math, analysis & financial planning skillsStrong sense of urgency and ability to problem-solveSets high standards for self; discusses goals with Buyer and achieves goalsConsistent demonstration of professionalism, sound judgment, and integrityMotivated and able to work well independently, as well as an effective member of a teamAbility to multi-task and provide timely follow-up EEOC Brunello Cucinelli is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
