Job Description
Our client, a manufacturer of construction products located in the East End, is looking for a Buyer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and source potential suppliers and vendors
- Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate terms, and establish contracts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers (approximately 25-30)
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize delivery schedules
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals chain
- Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Work within established budgets and financial guidelines
- Manage min/max setting in ERP system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
- Other duties as assigned
Required skills and qualifications:
- College diploma or bachelor’s in supply chain management
- 3-5 years’ experience in a procurement, purchasing, or a buyer role
- Previous experience using an ERP system
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player mentality
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Fluently bilingual (French and English) a strong asset
Wage: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
