Our client, a leader in the supply chain industry, is looking for an entry level buyer to join their team!Pay: $22-$25/hrResponsibilitiesReview incoming purchase requisitions for routine purchases and contractsIdentify approved suppliers; obtain quotes (RFQ's) for competitive biddingGenerate Purchase Orders, and provide all required PO follow upAs approved by senior management, in support of business plans and strategic objectives to meet annual company goalsUnderstand sales purchasing requirementsLearn procurement basics and ethicsDevelop accurate purchase ordersAnalyze requisitions and resolve issuesContact suppliers for pricing and termsAdminister purchase orders, collaborate with Supply Chain teamAssist suppliers with delivery and quality, resolve procurement issuesMonitor supplier compliance, guide internal customersRequirementsHigh School DiplomaFantastic communication skillsA continuous improvement mindset and the willingness to learn and grow.
