Job Description
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background supporting and leading plant initiatives at all levels, delivering tangible targets, and consistently identify areas of improvement. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence in addition to running quality assessments to ensure supplier and customer satisfaction. ResponsibilitiesMonitor and support plant performance for production and quality standards. Identify, develop and establish KPIs and lead the team to achieve the strategies and goals.Provide direction and support with activities, while ensuring priorities are aligned with cost, quality and timeline targetsContribute to budgeting outlines and forecasting while partnering with key internal and external production stakeholdersDevelop the overall effectiveness of the Operation/Department; benchmarking and analyzing these trends to establish focused plans and results Participation in employee committee meetingsQualificationsPost-secondary education in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations/Industrial Management required Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or Operations background would be strong asset 8+ years of production experience in a leadership roleStrong organizational and managerial skillsExcellent interpersonal communications with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationProven leader with experience managing within a Manufacturing organization, able to motivate teams and drive accountability.Organized and detail oriented, and adaptable to change.
