Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications, the Business Systems Analyst will be involved in performing detailed systems tests, developing new system architectures, translating strategic objectives into technology solutions, creating end-user-facing reports, developing process flows, building dashboards and will be responsible for developing and documenting formal test strategies and plans and leading all testing activities related to the IT systems.Key Responsibilities include : Ensure the security and confidentiality of all information managed by the Information Technology (IT) department in support of the company’s operations and legislationEnsure the ongoing protection and integrity of the information systems technology assets of the companyPromote and represent the corporate culture and core values in all aspects of the job dutiesDevelop and deliver in-depth analysis of business requirements and assess the technical capabilities of the system to effectively meet the business needs.Design, develop, integrate, and implement business systems.Act as a liaison between operations, technology, and support teams.Provide operational/process-related analysis and support.Support collaboration with key stakeholders to find solutions, assess the impact to existing work processes and systems and manage integrations.Configure functions and workflow to optimize business system usage and integration with other applications.Oversee internal implementation of third-party systems.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhanced productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiencies.Execute SQL code for queries for extraction, database management, and reporting.Maintain and manage security requests for business applications.Monitor system performance and resolve issues.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in system design and implementation.Adhere to existing processes/standards including management and project management disciplines.Quality Assurance/TestingDevelop and document testing methodologies.Proactively identify and mitigate risks identified during testing.Conduct hands-on testing to identify, isolate, reproduce, track defects, and verify fixes.Take a leadership role in setting standards for the business team to achieve testing goals and deliver high-quality work.Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science5+ years of experience in the IT fieldExperience using ERP systems.Technical knowledge of Web Services, APIs, API framework and SOAProficient in Microsoft OfficeAdvanced level of Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookup, Macros, etc.)SQL administrationResults-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Superb communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.Our purpose At Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
