LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst - ERP Finance Applications for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationThe successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Gatineau, QC, on a hybrid basis.Key TasksProvide daily support to stakeholders on new requests or incidents related to Financial ApplicationsAs part of a team of BSA’s support/maintain an ERP and other Financial Applications by performing such functions as application configuration, troubleshooting of complex incidents and development of new featuresDevelop hands on knowledge of the ERP and other Financial Applications to investigate issues, identify root causes, recommend, and drive resolutionsProactively communicate and collaborate with Business System Owners and End Users to analyze information needs and functional requirementsPerform and review system configurations to ensure the configuration of the functional modules align with the designed business processes and perform updates as requiredAct as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technology teams and VendorsProactively identify areas for improvement regarding the financial applications and existing or new business processesFacilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze, and translate them into system requirements, configurations, and customizationsParticipate in the collection and presentation of evidence to support the organization’s audit cyclesKey QualificationsMinimum 3-5+ years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or similar experience as a Business Analyst, serving mainly the accounting/finance groupStrong knowledge and experience with ERP Finance Corporate Systems/Applications, this includes a basic knowledge of IT application troubleshooting and a basic level of technical knowledge of PL/SQLStrong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cyclesAssetsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically ExcelFinance, Accounting or related degree would be consideredComputer Science experience with formal training in the areas of ERP systemsAbout LeverageTek IT SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply!
