Project ManagerFortune 500 BankContract: 3-month contract to start with the ability for extensionLocation: Open to Toronto, Ontario or Chicago, IL locations – must be open to working onsiteOverviewAs a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Portfolio Delivery on the Client Services teams, supporting a variety of projects aimed at elevating the client experience for Commercial Clients. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the Client Services team, overseeing projects related to client onboarding, documentation reviews, integrating with KYC/AML teams, etc.ResponsibilitiesManage projects pertaining to client services processes, ensuring timely and effective execution.Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, establish project objectives, and define deliverables.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.Facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda setting, and minute taking, to drive progress and alignment.Conduct stakeholder mapping to identify key individuals and departments involved in each project phase.Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and leadership teams on meetings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in client onboarding and service delivery.Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the Client Services team.Skills/QualificationsBanking/Financial Services experience with a preference for commercial banking knowledge.3-5 years of project management experience, encompassing PM scheduling, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management.Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor in virtual and in-person meetings.Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, tracking, and reporting (ie: Visio, Microsoft Project, Asana, JIRA, etc.).EducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Project Management credentials/certifications are a plus.
