Job Purpose:

This position works using technology to streamline and improve business processes; Provide SAP and business process knowledge for the analysis, design, and development of applications; Follow up and take proper actions to provide IT support to issues resolution following the Standard Operating Procedure in Global Information Technology (GIT). 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities.
  • Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to tackle sophisticated procedural problems.
  • Identify and assess new technologies and concepts that can give to the business
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing and applications of SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
  • Maintain Production Systems reliability through accurate utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
  • Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA.
  • Deliver solutions to tackle business requirements considering priorities and resources available.
  • Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Development, Risk Management and the Global Shared Service Organization and other multi-functional business units as necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with GIT Peers, Business partners, customers and external resources to supply business requirements
  • Lead and coordinate implementation of medium and large size projects across the division.
  • Participate and give in special projects or initiatives such as institutional programs, committees and others. 
  • Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements.
  • Coordinate activities of internal and/or external resources according to project needs.

Experience: 

  • A consistent track record of performance with at least 5 years on IT role developing, configuring and implementing SAP MII technology integrated with SAP ECC and/or S4 HANA with Supply modules like PP, WMS, MM and QM.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a project coordinator or leading IT projects.
  • Develop knowledge in the functional process of SAP modules such as MM, PP and QM.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express sophisticated technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications (English and Spanish).
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge of SAP applications on a technical level.
  • Solid ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, technologies, individuals and cultures.
  • Supporting and implementing Shop Floor systems
  • Interest to develop in functional SAP Supply Chain & Manufacturing solutions
  • Interested in learning new technologies (RPA, Machine learning, etc.)

Education and knowledge: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • SAP MII configuration and development solid grasp.
  • SAP processes solid grasp
  • Desirable SAP ALE / API programming and configuration knowledge
  • SAP ABAP development experience basic/desirable knowledge.
  • Desirable SAP advance knowledge on Supply Chain Modules: MM, PP, QM
