The Business Process Analyst is integral to the success of the Technology & IT Services Management team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy.

Reporting to the Manager of Process Architecture, the Business Process Analyst will be an advocate, facilitator, and advisor to continuously improve the organization in line with company’s mission, vision, values and objectives.

The successful incumbent will use his/her critical thinking and analytical skills to analyze business processes, gather business requirements, manage project progress, and provide user support

We are looking for someone with:

  • University degree or equivalent work experience in business process analysis, platform support and reporting
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working on Business Process Modeling (BPM), using the industry standards such as BMPN 2.0
  • Working knowledge of process modelling techniques and process mapping tools (such as Visio, Navvia, ARIS). Some knowledge of pensions and related policies, as well as Lean Six Sigma methodology would be a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, SharePoint)

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Business process analysis, documentation, and reporting techniques for dashboard and KPI reporting
  • Familiarity with BMPN standard
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in bridging the gap between business and technology, with the ability to present ideas in a clear and logical manner. Ability to work effectively in cross functional, virtual teams
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, study and interpret complex data

Once here you will:

  • Engage with key stakeholders at various levels to understand business challenges and its related processes and derive business requirements
  • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and procedure to identify areas of improvement, standardization, process optimization and automation, in line with company’s mission, vision, values and objectives
  • Create process documentation and guidelines, including process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and presentations to stakeholders
  • Lead and manage small projects and/or streams within larger portfolio of projects, ranging from process definition, documentation, and functional design review with IT
  • Analyze data and document scenarios to frame the problem and present to stakeholders
  • Collaborate to develop strategies and roadmaps to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Apply Lean process re-engineering methodologies to optimally design and document future state processes
  • Provide user support and training as required
