Actual title: DevOps Business Intelligence Developer Location: Montreal, QC Duration: 12 Months Bilingual: French and English Hybrid Role Description: As a member of the Corporate Data team - Business Intelligence and data management, you will be a key player in a DevOps Squad whose objective is to innovate and develop new ways to integrate data into our assets. You will also have the mandate to facilitate the exposure of data from our warehouse for our customers and consumers. You will work in a highly qualified team that stands out for its dynamism, performance and pleasure is an integral part of our daily life. To do this, we need you, your attitude and your talent More specifically, your mandate will be to: · Design & Develop integration solutions. This includes exposing and consuming data using API (Java), Jobs ETL (DataStage) and/or Streaming Kafka (Confluent Cloud). · Design and implement DevOps continuous integration and continuous development pipelines, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with other development tools as part of the software development lifecycle. (Jenkins / Harness) · Deploy the solutions developed and contribute to their evolution in the cloud (AWS). · Diagnose problems and resolve complex issues while ensuring that the solutions developed are permanent, with a view to continuous improvement of our assets. · Implement continuous deployment strategies while ensuring high availability of production systems. · Contribute to the automation of continuous integration, automated testing and continuous deployment processes. If you want to share your experience in data, if you want to have a significant impact and be at the heart of change, you are the perfect person for us Skills sought · Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent; · Knowledge of software development, source code management and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Harness, github, Nexus, Docker, etc.); · Mastery of micro-services and APIs in the Cloud (AWS); · In-depth knowledge of Java (SpringBoot); · Experience with handling and using databases (Oracle) · Ability to develop ETL Jobs (DataStage an asset) · Knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodology; · Development experience within teams following DevOps and continuous integration best practices; · Bilingualism (French/English);
