Job Description

We are currently recruiting for our pharmaceutical manufacturing client for a contract role based out of Thornhill location. Duration: 6 months contract with potential to extendLocation: Thornhill, ONWork arrangement: Onsite (Hybrid)The Business Intelligence Analyst will work collaboratively within the Commercial Operations team in support of the Prescription business unit to meet objectives and deadlines by providing data analysis/validation support and strategic insight based on the analytics to affect change and growth in the business. This role will also be critically involved in forecasting for current and future brands.Responsibilities: Forecast Pro and TXT Submissions: monthly and as requiredSupport the Monthly Business Planning cycle – work with commercial and finance and presentation decksWeekly sales tracking and projections – working closely Sales Leadership and FinanceAnalytics to support Sales force optimization as requiredmonthly and as required (TSA, XPO, GPM, Target Lists, Market Definitions)Support the Incentive Compensation plan – quota development, targets, payoutsRx Monthly leaderboards & SFE supportMonthly global data submissionSupport data requirements for promotions where applicable and account analyticsSupport data requirements for Marketing Managers – ad hoc / monthlyData validation of various monthly and ad hoc reportsROI analysis as required – tactical programOther duties as assignedRequirements: Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Business, Computer Science.Strong financial acumen required.1-5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role preferred.Experience extracting data from relational databases (ie. Oracle, SAP, Cognos, SQL server, etc.)Knowledge of external data sources: including IQVIA, AC Nielsen.Computer Skills: Intermediate/advanced level skills using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Power BI. Specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulae).Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal staff and external customers and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve problems independently; proven investigative, data interpretation/manipulation skills.Ability to work in a team environment, but also able to work independently with minimum supervision.Above average organization, excellent follow up, and project management skills.
