We support all functions within the Allstate Company Group (Allstate, Pembridge, PAFCO and Ivantage) such as Sales, Claims, HR, Marketing, Underwriting, Finance, SLT and many more. The candidate will be involved with our partners to understand the business need, analyze the data, and design the best solution. Accountabilities: Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Understand our business stakeholder's business challenges, define, design, and implement business intelligence reporting and dashboard solutions to address the business problems Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms, and build optimal business case for business growth Advise business stakeholders on how to measure their business processes and advise on best metrics to use for different processes Gather proper requirements and ensure they are aligned with the overall objective and insights sought by our business stakeholders Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Work with management to prioritize business and information needs Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize overall efficiency and improve quality Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems Qualifications: 2 years' experience as a Data Analyst with advanced level of computer skills, including SQL and/or SAS, Power BI preferred (and/or Tableau) Reporting, Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and problem-solving skills Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Ability to work in a team as well as independently Identifying new ideas, techniques and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essential Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
