We support all functions within the Allstate Company Group (Allstate, Pembridge, PAFCO and Ivantage) such as Sales, Claims, HR, Marketing, Underwriting, Finance, SLT and many more. The candidate will be involved with our partners to understand the business need, analyze the data, and design the best solution. Accountabilities: Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsUnderstand our business stakeholder's business challenges, define, design, and implement business intelligence reporting and dashboard solutions to address the business problemsCollaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms, and build optimal business case for business growthAdvise business stakeholders on how to measure their business processes and advise on best metrics to use for different processesGather proper requirements and ensure they are aligned with the overall objective and insights sought by our business stakeholdersIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize overall efficiency and improve qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsFilter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problemsQualifications: 2 years' experience as a Data Analyst with advanced level of computer skills, including SQL and/or SAS, Power BI preferred (and/or Tableau) Reporting, ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and problem-solving skillsAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsAbility to work in a team as well as independentlyIdentifying new ideas, techniques and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essentialKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasetsAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
