Job Description

AIM’s New Business Development team is recruiting a high-energy, driven individual with experience in a value-driven sales approach. Ideal candidates should possess strong B2B sales and account management experience and a solid track record. This critical function is responsible for acquiring new and driving a high volume of sales by managing the complete sales process. It works with the rest of the AIM organization to uncover new ways to continue to make AIM a leader in the metal recycling industry. The territory will cover the London, Ontario region.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive sales revenue through new client acquisition by managing the complete sales process
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
  • Build and manage a book of business through outbound prospecting as well as inbound opportunities.
  • Be organized - effectively manage an account set, keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities.
  • Enable successful roll-out of AIM services to customer employees, including sharing and developing relevant documentation, brainstorming ideas, and attending launches and sites visits in person
  • Collaborate closely with account management team to support existing customers and the renewal process

Qualifications

  • Experience building and maintaining relationships
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high-energy
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement
  • Successful history of net new business sales
  • A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
  • Willingness to travel

Experience

  • University Degree is preferred
  • Sales, marketing and/or operations focus is an asset
