They are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join their team and contribute to their growth and success. Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the safety industry. This consultative sales role requires a blend of industry expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B SaaS sales, with the ability to manage and shorten sales cycles through effective training and engagement. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the safety industry. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, with sales cycles typically ranging from 3 to 6 months, and the potential to reduce to 2 months with effective training. Conduct consultative sales meetings with potential clients, asking insightful questions to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, reflecting the persona of the buyer and ensuring customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support to foster long-term partnerships. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within the safety industry. Experience managing health and safety initiatives is highly desirable. Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to ask probing questions and understand client needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with clients. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis. Inquisitive, intelligent, and ambitious with a strong desire to succeed. Ability to reflect the persona of the buyer, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
