Uplend Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong business development skills such as prospecting, understanding of client needs and related duties as they pertain to equipment financing. The Business Development Manager is responsible for building new relationships with customers and vendors within a specified territory. Duties & Responsibilities Manage the sale of products or services within a specified district or territory Manage relationships and plans for prospective clients; may include focused calling and pipeline management activities Independently manage objectives set out by management Select and develop sources, leads and contacts Participate in local trade shows and sales events Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives Analyze financial and related data to determine the needs of the client for proper structuring of the Bank's products and services Ensure completion proper documentations for loans and leases Evaluate and structure loan requests, determine appropriate documentation for approved loans. Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Advise clients, where possible, on business management and other financial matters Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Qualifications & Skills 4+ years of related experience in the financial or equipment financing industries is required 3+ years of Equipment Finance selling experience is preferred Degree in Business, MBA or equivalent is preferred Adaptable and organized in a fast-paced office environment Punctual with good customer service and prioritization skills Strong written and verbal communication for creating correspondence, documents, and reports Team player with attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to multi-task are essential Work both independently as well as in a team environment Ability to continuously learn and adapt to new procedures and policies What we have to offer: Aggressive compensation structures to choose from with an ability to increase commission percentage.
