Surepoint is seeking aBusiness Development Representative to expand our market presence across Central Alberta! This role is designed for a self-motivated professional who understands industrial services and possesses the commercial drive to turn technical knowledge into consistent revenue.
You will represent Surepoint's compression, power generation, and E&I solutions within the region. While operating with independence, you are supported by a premier technical team that provides the deep expertise required to deliver for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the midstream, upstream, and industrial sectors to expand our footprint in Central Alberta.
- Promote our full suite of electrical and instrumentation services, alongside our distribution of reciprocating natural gas engine and compressor parts.
Draft proposals and service agreements, ensuring pricing aligns with market conditions and company goals.
Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to project closing. Build and maintain long‑term client partnerships through a consistent regional presence.
Maintain accurate CRM data and provide sales updates. Monitor local market activity and competitive trends to help the team stay ahead of equipment and margin shifts.
Qualifications
Proven success in industrial or oilfield service sales. Expertise in gas compression, power generation, or industrial E&I services is highly valued.
Ability to navigate B2B sales cycles and coordinate service projects effectively.
An existing network within the Western Canadian energy market and the ability to manage a Central Alberta travel schedule.
Skilled at translating technical requirements into clear, professional proposals for clients.
A disciplined, goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting revenue targets and contributing to a positive team environment.
This role requires a strong field presence at gas plants and industrial facilities throughout the region. Regular travel within Central Alberta is a core requirement.
