About the job

This is a new position! Diabetes Australia has an opportunity for a dedicated Business Analyst to join our Finance team in maintaining our financial reporting processes and systems.

Working within a small team, this full time permanent position can be located in Sydney or Brisbane with flexible work arrangements that offer both working from home and office arrangements. Work from the office 2 days a week and 3 days at home!

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills liaising between various departments and initiating workshops.
  • Develop and maintain data models, reporting templates and dashboards.
  • Maintaining reports and dashboards in Solver Global CPM and Power BI
  • Assist in system preparation for budgets and forecasts.
  • Ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Develop/conduct training sessions on new systems and reporting tools.
About You

You are passionate about supporting a meaningful cause and excel in a dynamic environment. You thrive in problem solving and excel in your numerical skillset.

You will have 2-3 years experience as a Business Analyst preferably in financial systems and reporting.

Your success toolkit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin or IT.
  • Minimum 2 years + experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial systems and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills in template building and advanced formulas.
  • Strong understanding of financial principals, reporting standards and accounting practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as ERP (SAP, Concur, MS Dynamics Business Central) and Payroll Solutions (MicroPay) and reporting tools (Power BI, Solver Global CPM).
  • Desirable to have experience in report writing and dashboard creation.
