Our client, a large energy producer in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their team for an initial 12month contract. This role ishybridin Calgary. Our client is looking for superior analytical and business problem solving skills, coupled with extensive SAP systems knowledge to handle Finance Master Data and Enterprise Structure Management in Group Reporting. Responsibilities: Maintain (or facilitate the maintenance of) all SAP FMD, such as, cost centers, cost elements, Joint Venture master data, general ledger accounts, hierarchies, legal entities, profit centers, sets etc. in multiple SAP systems. Conduct business risk analysis for proposed FMD changes, assessing impact on key processes. Provide subject matter expertise for SAP system transformation, migration, and optimization projects. Maintain critical FMD components like cost centers, Joint Venture master data, and general ledger accounts. Contribute to the maintenance and analysis of essential relationships between various FMD components, including company code, cost element, valuation area, chart of account, cost center, profit center etc. Query and analyze critical FMD tables in order to investigate and resolve data quality issues and to validate the accuracy and completeness of the team's FMD maintenance activities. Administer Blackline and offer critical support during month-end close processes. Execute all the Joint Venture Month-end processes. Perform SAP ECC to SAP BW reconciliations and ensure compliance with security guidelines. Load SAP balances into Blackline Application on a monthly basis. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance). Must have Advanced proficiency in managing SAP Financial Master Data and querying related backend tables. Experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW/BOBJ), SAP BPC and Winshuttle (or similar upload tools). Minimum of 2 - 4 years working experience with SAP preferably in the Canadian petroleum industry.
