EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment – connecting hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games.The DevOps team is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. We are a group of Project Managers and Engineers who support a multi-billion-dollar video game ecosystem across multiple public cloud platforms. We guide the game development teams in their decisions for infrastructure architecture and investment. As we build more automation to enable the developers, we need better insight into forecasting our spend and optimization. We partner closely with EA’s Production Infrastructure & Engineering (PI&E) team on infrastructure budgeting.Responsibilities:You will partner, liaise, and translate technical requirements to spend with teams across the organization, including finance and other technical teams.You will track and report important insights to partners and leadership, on our infrastructure spend.You will build dashboards for external partners to consume financial information in an automated way.You will forecast infrastructure costs, build queries and analyze data to support forecasting, cost modeling, chargebacks and show important insights into infrastructure cost drivers.You will influence and support strategic decision-making; model business scenarios and provide deep insights into data and complex problems or situations using appropriate methodologies and performance metrics.Qualifications:Familiarity with Infrastructure costs, and workload usage /consumption patterns on cloud including an understanding of cloud providers, platforms and configurations (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with data visualization software packages, e.g., Looker, Power BI, TableauFamiliarity with SQL and similar database tools for querying complex data sets.A B.A./B.S. in STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering Sciences3+ years of experience in related fieldsBC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. HOURLY PAY RANGES• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):º $73,200 - $101,700 CAN AnnuallyBase salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
