Pay: $56/hrDuration: 8 month contractLocation: Mississauga, Ontario - hybrid, onsite Tuesday and Thursday We are partnering with a retail conglomerate to hire on a Business Analyst II. Responsibilities:Business Analysis and Data Management• Manage data files, conduct reconciliations, and perform analysis using data.• Understand business requirements and provide in-depth analysis.Data Analysis and Problem Solving• Maintain knowledge of all main data sources and classifications for the data used in the analysis.• Explore and utilize these data sources for reporting and analysis purposes.Stakeholder Consultation and User Experience• Provide stakeholders with analysis to address their needs.• Determine the best way to deliver the analysis requested by exploring multiple alternatives and creating prototypes.Data Interpretation and Visualization• Work with various business units to define problems and requirements.• Analyze and interpret data using statistical methods and data modeling techniques.• Identify patterns and trends in data and provide recommendations for business decisions.• Develop and implement data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.Continuous Improvement• Build scalable and automatable analytical solutions• Identify ways to improve processes by observing and collecting feedback from requestors.• Analyze business processes and functional requirements with stakeholders for required system enhancements. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.• 4-6 years of Business Analysis experience and minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in advanced data analytics.• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple project deadlines.• Ability to map out complex operational processes.• Strong data analysis skills and ability to provide recommendations based on trends and opportunities.• Strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, must be extremely detail oriented.• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wireframing, PowerBI, SQL, Tableau.
