Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst (SharePoint)We are currently looking for a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst (SharePoint) in support of our client’s SharePoint portal and in-house systems/applications.Business Analyst Roles and Responsibilities:Act as a Functional Analyst for in-house systemsAnalyze and model the business area and processes for which the Business Analyst (BA) is responsibleAssist Business Relationship Managers in identifying and defining opportunities, assessing them through a preliminary analysis and managing the various client portfoliosSupport clients in defining and justifying business needs and in documenting themEstablish and control business requirements by taking advantage of various information gathering techniques allowing clients to formalize their needsPrioritize and manage requirements in order to facilitate solution delivery processesCommunicate and present concrete solutionsAdvise and assist clients in order to improve and innovateDemonstrate the ability to build on what has been achieved and enhance the team’s level of expertise by supporting less experienced membersHelp define key business analysis methodology, processes and toolsParticipate in quality control activities by performing tests or making structured reviewsAssist users during their acceptance testsCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience with SharePoint and SharePoint portalsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related disciplineExperience in an Agile environmentMinimum of eight years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA)Experience working with data modelsProven ability to identify and formalize business needs, convert them into instances of use, user case histories and/or test cases.Knowledge of MS Access (an asset)Knowledge of .NETExperience with SQL databasesAbility to assess IT project costs, risks and profitabilitySolid problem-solving skillsStrong analytical and information processing skillsAbility to influence, persuade and initiate changeAbility to set priorities and to perform tasks in a fast-paced environmentExtensive background in a collaborative, team-run environmentGood judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive situationsExcellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skillsBilingualism (English, French) an asset.This position is located in Toronto, ON and is a minimum 6 month contract role with a possible extension.You want to submit your Resume?
