This position will serve existing and future clients in the north central Ontario market. As a project manager with our Building Restoration group, you’ll be assisting our team in providing high quality, engineering solutions to meet our clients needs. Typical projects can include concrete and masonry restoration, roof replacement, building condition evaluations, and capital planning.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Act as a liaison with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, and approval agencies;Proposal preparation and coordination;Management of the financial aspects of the project; processing of invoices; collecting receivables; timesheet completion; record keeping; etc.;Prepare tender and contract documents in support of design drawings;Contract administration;Nurturing and further developing existing client base through establishing and maintaining client relationships;Create and maintain relationships with people or organizations that could impact or be impacted by the project and managing their interaction with the project as needed;Prepare and issue site inspection reports or review those completed by junior staff;Prepare and track project budgets and schedules;QA/QC;Develop and maintain a positive team atmosphere among your project team members; understand team member concerns and work with them to solve problems; inspire team members by demonstrating and encouraging passionate performance; empower staff through effective delegation, mentorship and training; andOther duties as assigned.We are considering applications from candidates with:Minimum 10 years of Building Science related experienceBachelor of Engineering or Applied Science degree or related fieldProfessional Engineer (P.
