The home of beautiful interiors, an indulgent spa and gym, and memorable culinary experiences - Saltmoore is opening in the coastal village of Sandsend, Whitby, this summer!The historic estate, formerly known as Raithwaite Sandsend, has been completely reimagined and is the site of a £10 million refurbishment of the hotel and spa, part of a wider £100 million development of holiday cottages and lodges.As we embark on this remarkable journey, we invite talented individuals to join us in redefining luxury hospitality and making Saltmoore a distinguished destination.About you and the roleAs the Brasserie Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our brasserie, managing staff, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, while also managing budgets, inventory, and operational efficiencies.• Lead, train, and motivate a team of service staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation.• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain guests.• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.• Proven experience as a Brasserie Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in a high-end dining establishment.• Strong leadership and team management skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.• Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and beverage pairing.- Competitive pay with annual pay reviews- Equal share of Service Charge to all employees paid monthly- Paid Breaks – weekly contracted hours include a 30-minute paid break for each shift over 6 hours- Enhanced Sick pay, Maternity pay and Paternity pay- Additional holiday entitlement based on length of service- Employee Referral Scheme – opportunity to earn £100 with each successful recommendation- Employee discount on Food and Beverage outlets, Spa Treatments and Spa products.- Employee discounted Room Rate of £50 per night- Friends and Family discounted Room Rate of £75 per night- Training and Development opportunities- Employee discount platform offering savings on shopping at over 1000 partners including supermarkets and high street retailers.- Employee recognition with Employee of the Month awards- Employee Assistance Programme- Cycle to work scheme- Uniform- Free Parking- T&Cs apply to some employee benefitsApplyFor an informal chat call our People Operations team on 01947 661661 or apply by emailing careers@saltmoore.co.uk with a copy of your CV .
