Job Description

We are seeking a driven individual to join our client’s team as a Branch Manager for their Lloydminster branch. Our client is a leading provider of industrial carbon steel pipe, fittings, and flanges serving a wide array of different industries.



Responsibilities:


  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Report incidents, problems, or concerns regarding health & safety, quality, processes, or equipment. Assist with safety audits and investigations.
  • Direct all operational aspects including sales, customer service, HR, and administration.
  • Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans and manage budgets.
  • Review monthly KPI reporting and communicate with staff.
  • Develop and maintain customer pricing structures.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Operations Manager for efficient warehouse and yard operations.
  • Support maintenance plan for facility, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Provide ongoing recommendations regarding inventory investments.
  • Ensure the accuracy of records and documentation.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Handle disciplinary actions as needed. Ensure effective training for staff.
  • Monitor and oversee completion of Quality Assurance Reports.
  • Provide leadership and training in health and safety. Ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
  • Maintain positive communication within the region and corporate management.



Qualifications:


  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field and/or a minimum of 5-7 years combined experience in inside & outside sales and operations in a similar industry.
  • Proven success in supervisory, management, or leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Knowledge of local and global markets for the industry.
  • Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, internal controls, and budgeting techniques.
  • Technical and product knowledge related to the manufacturing process for carbon steel pipe, flanges, and fittings.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
