Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the launch and growth of our new branch in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the branchs operations, from initial setup to ongoing management, with a strong focus on business development, team building, operations and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Branch Setup and Strategy Development:Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to establish the new branch.Identify and secure a suitable location for the branch office and facilities.Set up the operational infrastructure, including procurement of necessary equipment and supplies as well as building a capital projects and service team and crews.Business Development and Sales:Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.Develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies to attract and retain customers.Team Building and Leadership:Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team, including estimators/project coordinators and roofing staff.Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Implement performance management processes to ensure team accountability and development.Financial Management:Monitor and analyze financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.Operational Management:Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.Implement and maintain high standards for quality control and safety.Manage inventory and supply chain to ensure availability of materials.Customer Service and Satisfaction:Ensure exceptional customer service is always provided.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.Develop strategies to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations and industry standards.Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the roofing industry.Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of successfully building and growing a business.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong financial acumen.Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer preferences in Ottawa, ON, is a plus.Job # 16465270
