Title: Branch Manager

Reports to:General Manager and/or Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: Surrey, BC

Salary:$105-115k plus a 5-10K bonus

THEOPPORTUNITY:

The Branch Manager isresponsible for leading and managing all Branch Operations to achievesales, market share, and financial goals within the region, inalignment with corporate strategy set by the management team. TheBranch Manager ensures performance, dedicated and capable personnel,good communication within and outside the branch, optimal use offinancial resources, personal leadership, and operational excellence.

AS A BRANCH MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Implement a customer-driven culture in allprocesses
  • Market the company effectively within the tradingarea
  • Use sound management practices for planning, teamwork,performance management, and communication
  • Supervise sales andoperational staff to achieve targets
  • Utilize internalestimating and quoting processes accurately
  • Apply budget andfinancial planning to achieve profitability
  • Developforecasts, financial objectives, and business plans
  • Usepeople management systems for recruitment, training, compensation,performance management, and safety
  • Train and ensure staffhave necessary resources (desks, computers, etc.)
  • Developindividual career and performance plans with branch talent
  • Direct all operational aspects including distribution,customer service, HR, administration, and sales
  • Meet goalsand metrics, identify improvement areas, and propose correctiveactions
  • Share best practices and competitive intelligencewith other branches and Senior Management
  • Address customerand employee satisfaction issues promptly
  • Maintain highethical standards and comply with regulations
  • Network toenhance branch and company reputation
  • Maintain and promotesafety standards
  • Ensure fair and equitable dealings withemployees, other branches, suppliers, and customers
  • Provide relevant and timely information to branch staff andmanagement team

YOU ARE/HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in BusinessManagement, Commerce, or related field
  • 10+ years ofconstruction management experience
  • 5+ years of teamleadership (managing managers)
  • 2+ years of sales and/oraccount management
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, andaccounting software
  • Intermediate accounting and inventoryskills
  • Effective communicator and negotiator
  • Collaborative and resilient
  • Highly accountable andmotivated
  • PMP or CET considered an asset

ADDITIONAL:

  • Officesetting with occasional lifting (<20 lbs)
  • Requires variedhours and availability
