This includes working with but is not limited to industry standard BIM and Digital Engineering platforms offered by companies such as AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk, etc.
  • Maintain and/or develop an understanding of Digital Strategy and Information Management standards and frameworks (ex. ISO 19650, CFIHOS, etc.)
  • Maintain and develop an understanding of Digital Twin technologies and capabilities, and their applications within the nuclear industry.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients to work in a virtual environment including mentoring, training, and documentation.
  • Conduct design reviews, and periodic status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research on trends, identify and evaluate new software pertaining to Digital Twins or BIM, and determine practicality based on our client’s requirements.
  • Work with a cross-functional team in the development and implementation of multi-year project road maps that enable the delivery of Digital engineering program using commercial Plant Design Management Systems (PDMS) software.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop digital solutions in a cloud-based environment.
  • Work both independently, and with the internal project team in the preparation of proposals, work plans, and project schedules and deliverables.
  • Host or participate in hackathons and workshops aimed at process simplification, automation, and technology implementation.
  • Lead initiatives to support charitable causes.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Well-rounded ability to standardize or review structured and unstructured data in ways that can be ingested by the above platforms keeping user experience in perspective.
  • Experience in Implementing such software platforms in both brownfield and greenfield projects.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable information standards: CFIHOS, UK BIM Standards (PAS 1192, ISO 19650 Series) and their exchange information methods (IFC, DEXPI, COBie).
  • You are a quick learner and are excited about the deployment of digital tools and technologies for the nuclear industry. Continuous learning is essential for our team as many of these technologies and frameworks are new to the nuclear industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with an innovative mindset that can combine conventional digital plant data management concepts with cutting-edge technology and techniques.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the nuclear industry; clients, operations, and maintenance, is an asset.
