Job Description

The Opportunity: The Bilingual Training Coordinator is an essential member of our clients Training Team. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in the facilitation and creation of training materials, specifically in the culinary and customer service fields. As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for presenting classes in both English and French, as well as, creating and updating a variety of training materials to ensure that franchise owners have the necessary knowledge and abilities to succeed. What You’ll be Doing: Facilitate classroom training and learning related to health & safety, customer service, and staff leadership Participate in hands-on facilitation in the kitchen, guiding new team members in practical skills as required Develop, write, and review training content, including quizzes and activities Create engaging and effective learning materials tailored to various levels of learners Maintain and update training resources like wall charts, job aids, and Standard Operating Procedures Participate in onboarding processes including scheduling, communication, and welcome calls Update and maintain content on our clients Learning Management System (LMS) Support stores and Regional Operations Managers with training needs Translate training and other “People” documents as required What You’ll Need to be Successful: Strong communication skills, in both English and French, written and spoken 1-3 years of experience in instructional training material design and development, preferably in a corporate or culinary setting Strong presentation skills, able to facilitate classes of 5 – 15 people Proficiency in Google Workspace, and familiarity with LMS platforms Basic knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models Experience in developing online and facilitated courses for adult learners Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with team members and cross-functional partners
