As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with the SM Quebec Region, by providing operational support to the business, focusing on day-to-day issue management and adjudication, initiative support, training, and education of colleagues. You will be required to liaise between the Quebec Region Branches and Canadian Wealth Management Operations (CWMO) with a focus on process improvement, project management and general operational support.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Represent the Quebec Region in strategic and tactical decisions for new and ongoing initiatives, as well as regular occurrences of business processes
Share best practices and/or processes that CWMO are facilitating
Act as the Quebec Region’s first point of contact for any escalations
Be aware and intune with any special Quebec only requirements or any upcoming large-scale impacts to CWMO
Maintain the dashboard of CWMO metrics
Reinforce centrally issued operations communications for the Quebec Region ensuring up-to-date information is disseminated to branch leadership
Host regular calls between regional leadership, branch management and CWMO, creating the agenda, hosting the call, and managing any action item follow-up
Develop and maintain partnerships with key internal partners such as other operational teams, technology, compliance, and other Wealth Management business partners as well as external industry peers to influence business decision making on operational policy and process
Provide support with the implementation and documentation of operational processes and procedures including writing and editing documentation
The Must Haves:
Must be fully bilingual in French and English
University degree required
5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience in an investment/brokerage operations environment is required
Knowledge of Wealth Applications is an asset such as Broadridge, Salesforce, Score, Charles River
Project Management experience is an asset
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional is required
Experience with managing a team and developing talent
Experience working with technology partners
