Bilingual Interior Designer/Planner
Location: Burlington, ON (In-Office)

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Be fully invested in developing a thorough understanding of the company’s lighting products, including specifications, features, and applications.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing design and project plans from lighting design to a complete bill of materials.
  • Work effectively with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Purchasing to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Provide ongoing support in project management for more complex lighting project.
  • Support and progressively take on full design of custom, made-to-order lighting projects and designs.
  • Ongoing participation in product training, learning and growth opportunities.
Here’s What You’ll Need To Be Successful
  • Full bilingual French and English proficiency (read, write, speak).
  • Graduate of a post-secondary program in Interior Design, Architectural Technology/Technologist or similar program.
  • Co-op or internship in interior design, kitchen design, architectural design or similar type of projects is an asset.
  • Experience with lighting design or projects is highly desired.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite. Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Creative Cloud, Photoshop) is required.
  • SAP or other ERP experience is an asset.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is highly preferred.
