Your new company Well-established automotive company in the Ottawa area. Your new role As the Bilingual General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the profitable and successful operation of a dealership location. Some responsibilities include: Management: Developing positive relationships with the staff to ensure overall successful operation, to maintain manufacturer standards, and to create a positive working environment. Train and mentor all staff to uphold professionalism on the sales and service floors. Weekly meetings with sales staff managers to review market share, advertising, inventory, F&I, CSI, and more. Weekly/Monthly meetings with managers to review results of CSI, Open RO's, and more. Ensure completion of Staff reviews Ensure each job description and respective processes are up to date - includes: sales process, service reception process, service delivery process, body shop process, and more. Hiring done efficiently, thoroughly, effectively. All highly confidential information handled with care, and if in hard copy form, kept locked. and more. Finance: Development of annual forecast prior to end of fiscal year, reviewed monthly comparing actual to previous year results. Monthly review of financial statement in coordination with the Controller and more. Dealership Management: Client employee satisfaction is the primary focus for all operating decisions, concerns or inquiries handled efficiently and effectively. Vehicle inventory reviewed monthly managed appropriately to meet forecasted demand, alongside managing wholesale interest charges. All service sales processes are completed effectively and efficiently. Act as key contributor to the advertising strategy. Includes; budget determination, ad focus, media choice, and more. Communication between departments of marketing launches, to ensure all information shared with customers is correct and consistent. Used inventory reviewed weekly to ensure fair values, represent a suitable mix and are totally reconditioned/available for customer demonstration. Provide a report of all new used sales to F&I, to all managers. Weekly review of leads, shared with the Sales Managers. Ensure good Health and Safety of all activities and areas. Attend Health and Safety meetings. and more.
