NOTE: HYBRID work model office located in Montreal, Quebec.Work Experience: 5+ years Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain, AS/400, RPG, C#, Bilingual French English, CBAP, AgileIndustry: HealthcareDESCRIPTION:Seeking a Bilingual BSA to be a core member of the Supply Chain Business Solutions team, perform strategic business research and analysis. Review, analyze and evaluate business processes, business systems and users’ need in relation with business requirements. Participate in the planning and coordination / management of projects. Lead the design and development of systems, new application versions, application enhancements, and support existing applications. Participate in implementation and maintenance of systems. Ensure business alignment of IT development initiativesIdentify process improvements and mitigate risksWrite detailed descriptions of and analyze users’ needs and system functionality and steps required to develop enhancements or fixes taking into account best-practice methods and the company’s methodologyInteract with customers, suppliers, users and third parties as appropriate; propose creative solutions to user problems identified through enhancements, projects or incidentsEvaluate entire scope (budget, time, effort), system impacts, constraints, risks and alternatives of the solutions proposedDocument business processes and system features to be proposed to users; validate and signoff with usersCreate functional specifications, business rules and other necessary documents and information in order to communicate the requirements to the programming team.Create and document the test strategy and plan for all part of the systemCreate test cases, participate in the actual testing, and document the test resultsReview and validate design and methodology deliverables and effort of team membersProvide status of development effort accomplished, estimates of remaining effort, and issues impacting progressCoordinate with the Change Adoption team the preparation and execution of communication and training for usersAssists in the execution of the transition including the implementation planSupervise resources for project activities and follow up on efforts (complex to very complex project)Be involved in off-hours production support activitiesMay be asked to execute activities associated to next level of job qualificationsShare his/her business, technical and application knowledge with other members of the team May lead a project or project team with significant impact on company results, or may be an expert in his field, providing ideas, opinions and advice to othersEstablish and communicate common goals and direction for project; coordinate cross-functional communication, problem-solving and team initiatives; champion ideas and innovationsPlay a role in resolving issues that require a cross-functional solution; facilitate sharing of best practices on customer serviceHas decision-making authority and autonomy to deliver goals of project as applicable; and resolve conflicts in an effective mannerBuild relationships to gain support; maintain positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organizationAccountable for quality of work delivered by external suppliers, as applicable; identify resource related issues within scope of work; coach others in area of specializationREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience5+ years in Information technology or involvement in technology initiatives5+ years as a business systems analyst, specifically in Supply Chain areaExperience in i-series, AS400 architecture, application development (RPG)Thorough understanding of IT and software concepts, software design development and modelingExcellent knowledge of development methodologies (RUP, UML, Agile)Strong Knowledge and experience of business concepts and requirementsGood analytical capacityAbility to work in a team and autonomouslyAbove average communication skills with good written and oral skills in both French and EnglishOrganized, methodical with rigorous work approachResponsible, logical and detail-orientedAbility to work efficiently under pressureAbility to work in crisis situations and in multi-task mode.NOTE: We openly welcome and invite applications from persons with disabilities or those protected by the human rights code and provide accommodation during all stages of the recruitment and hiring process, upon request.TO APPLY: https://directitrecruiting.com/job/bsa-as400-bilingual/
