A Snapshot of Your Day

We are searching for a Bid manager to join our excellent team. In this role, you will review Customer Request for Proposals, develop bid-winning strategies with Business Development and Head of Tender Management, organize the bid team, write and edit proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, and collaborate with other team members to ensure compliant, winning and profitable bids.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate a sound understanding of the high voltage transmission industry and be able to communicate and negotiate with a range of stakeholders. Knowledge of AIS, GIS and/or FACTs and/or HVDC and/or Li-Ion Battery Storage is highly desirable.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Conducting research and brainstorming key points to include in the bid
  • Define yearly strategy for own regions and customers
  • Create detailed proposals ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Coordinate the efforts of various departments to produce a successful bid.
  • Providing input on technical and value advantages of Siemens Energy product and service offerings.
  • Commercial and technical offer preparation
  • Maintain close relationship with external and internal customers
  • Negotiation with customers and contract closing
  • Support internal functions in communication with own customers
  • Keeping track of all costs and managing budgets.
  • Working closely with project managers, design managers, estimators, and senior personnel.
  • Conducting team briefings once bids have been secured.
What You Bring
  • University degree in Engineering
  • Prior experience in offer/proposal/tender management is appreciated
  • Knowledge of AIS, GIS and/or FACTs and/or HVDC and/or Battery Storage would be highly desirable
